GreenLine · Sod Installation

A brand-new lawn, laid to last.

Premium turf varieties matched to your climate, installed over properly graded and amended soil — green from day one, healthy for years.

The lawn you see starts with the ground you don’t.

Sod that's dropped on hard, unlevel ground fails — it browns in patches, holds water in low spots, and never roots deep. That's why most of our sod work happens before the first roll is ever unloaded.

We strip out old turf and weeds, grade the ground for smooth mowing and proper drainage, and amend the soil so roots take hold fast. Then we lay fresh-cut sod with tight, staggered seams and roll it for full soil contact.

The right grass for your yard.

Bermuda, zoysia, centipede, St. Augustine — each thrives in different sun, soil and traffic conditions. We help you pick the variety that fits how your yard actually lives, not just what's on the truck this week.

And because we're also an irrigation company, we can make sure your new lawn gets exactly the water it needs to establish — the single biggest factor in whether sod thrives or dies in its first month.

Questions

Asked & answered.

What type of sod is best for my yard?
It depends on sun, soil, and how the yard gets used. Bermuda loves full sun and traffic; zoysia handles partial shade with a plush feel; centipede is low-maintenance for acidic soils. We'll recommend the right fit at your free estimate.
When is the best time to lay sod?
In the Southeast, sod can be installed most of the year. Warm-season grasses establish fastest in late spring through summer, but with proper watering we get excellent results in other seasons too.
How soon can I walk on new sod?
Light foot traffic is fine after about two weeks; give it three to four before regular use and first mow. We leave you a simple week-by-week plan.
Do I need irrigation before sodding?
It's the best order of operations — new sod needs consistent water to root. As an irrigation company first, we can install or tune your system in the same project so the lawn establishes perfectly.
